PAT LAWRENCE began his career in the Air Force as a jet air-craft maintenance specialist. He then served the aerospace industry as a precision instrument repair technician, calibration laboratory supervisor and precision layout inspector. Within a 3 year span at Mitutoyo's CMM Division, he served as a CMM calibration technician, application engineer and finally, as their training supervisor. Pat has direct factory experience with three leading CMM manufacturers.

 
GARTH TAGGART started in the Navy as a Machinist Mate. He entered the aerospace industry as a quality control inspector and within 10 years was the plant manager of a large mid-west foundry. As an entrepreneur, Garth pioneered the Contract Inspection Industry and founded—and later sold—5 Dimensional Inspection Laboratories (DIL) locations across the country. As an "end user" of CMM services for several years, he gained valuable insights for what was needed to improve the cmm service industry.
